Meet Your Counselor!
Hello Langford Elementary Families!
My name is Evelyn Ramirez, and I am so excited to be your School Counselor. Having previously taught Pre-K and Kindergarten, I bring hands-on classroom experience to my counseling role. I understand not only our youngest learners' developmental needs but also our bigs and love helping them navigate big emotions. I hold a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Angelo State University, and I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
My absolute passion is ensuring that every child has the support they need to thrive. At Langford, I work hard to foster school motivation and introduce early career readiness.
A Team Approach to Support
I believe it takes a village! I work closely with our school support team,including our Parent Support Specialist and our Communities In Schools (CIS) Program Manager. Together, we make sure our families' basic needs are met and connect you with vital outside community resources when necessary.
